Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have opened contract extension talks with their Brazilian playmaker Fabio Gama, who has few months left to become a free agent.

The 29 year old was adjudged a league champion for the first time in his career after guiding the Porcupine Warriors to their 25th league glory with official trophy presentation done last Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The mercurial playmaker has stupendous since donning the Kotoko shirt having joined them in 2020 and now has only four months left with his spell at the club set to end in October this year.
 
With this, as reported your trusted sports hub Kickgh.com earlier, the champions have opened fresh negotiations with the ex- Brazil youth international, having proposed to him a new two years contract following his impressive spell. 
 
The 'Kum Apem' lads will face Accra Lions FC in their final game of the season this weekend.
