Asante Kotoko's inform goalie, Frederick Asare has sustained a serious leg injury which could rule him out for the remainder of the ongoing season.

The 23 year old, joined the Porcupine Warriors prior to the commencement of the season from Accra Lions and is really enjoying life with the giants, having lived up to the height anytime he is giving the nod in goal- with many a Kotoko faithful, now choosing him over first-choice Danlad Ibrahim.

He picked up the bad injury earlier today when Kotoko engaged lower-tier side Betenase FC at the Adako-Jachie training grounds- a preparatory friendly they ended up winning by 3-2.

Solomon Sarfo Taylor was on target as he hopes to continue with his scoring form after netting against Goldstars, so as Augustine Agyapong and skipper Richard Boadu.

Frederick Asare started in post but unfortunately fractured his leg in a horrific manner and was quickly rushed to the hospital to start his rehabilitation.

Reports suggest the injury looked really dangerous that, he could miss their game against Kotoku Royals on Monday and could also prolly stay out for the remainder of the season though the extent is yet to be determined.
