Reigning Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko are set to announce the signing of Brazilian international Bruno Leite for their next season's campaign.

With the departure of Fabio Gama after seeing out his contract with the Ghanaian champions, the Porcupine Warriors are reportedly on the verge of signing another Brazilian in the person of Bruno da Silva Costa Leite.

The 22-year-old midfielder plays for Botafogo B, on loan from Athletico Paranaense. He made just a single appearance in the Campeonato Paranaense 2022.

If the reports in the Ghanaian media are anything to go by, Bruno Leite will become the third Brazilian to join the Kumasi club in recent times after Fabio Gama and Michael Vinicius Silva de Morais.

The Porcupine Warriors are Ghana's sole representative in the 2022/23 CAF Champions League after clinching their 24th Premier League title in the just ended season.

Asante Kotoko are currently busy on the transfer market looking for highly-rated players to augment their squad list for the upcoming season.
