Hearts of Oak assistant coach Hamza Obeng admits that Albert Commey's match fixing allegation is 'worrying' and insists that Real Tamale United are a good side because they didn't even lose to Asante Kotoko.

Real Tamale United escaped relegation on the final day of the Ghana Premier league after beating Hearts of Oak by 4:1.

Rumours of match fixing before the game predicted a win for RTU over Hearts, and it came to past.

Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Ashanti Gold, Albert Commey, confirmed the match manipulation speculations that his club, Ashanti Gold vs Bibiani Gold Stars, Hearts of Oak vs RTU, Eleven Wonders vs Aduana Stars and King Faisal vs Legon Cities were all fixed games.

Reacting to the claims, Hamza Obeng says it's worrying to hear such comments and insists that had RTU played all season like the way they face them, they wouldn't have battle relegation.

"I have heard the comments of Albert Commey and it's worrying," he admitted on Akoma FM

"We have to understand football, we cannot expect good results always. Our Football is declining and such results sometimes happens unexpectedly and normally generate issues.

In football, teams battling relegation mostly cause harm."

"In that game, if RTU should have played that in their previous games, they wouldn't have been in that position.

I will say our expectations going into that game even caused us that defeat because we were more determined to win.

"They didn't even lose to Kotoko and it tells you they have a good team just that people don't really see it because they were struggling," insisted.
