Kotoku Royals boss John Eduafo blames his side's 3-1 match-week 31 defeat against Asante Kotoko at the Theatre of Dreams on "hard luck".

Kotoku have lost five times and drawn thrice in eight matches in the top tier after being outclassed at home by Porcupine Warriors, having conceded six  goals this month, having shipped three at their adopted grounds of Dawu.

"It was a very good performance from my players. I will say it was hard luck. We just gave them two clear chances in the early parts of the game and they scored those goals. We came back strongly, we scored one goal. In the totality of the game, it was a good match but just hard luck," Eduafo told StarTimes in his post-match interview.

Kotoku's 1-year spell in the Ghana Premier League came to an end following their defeat to Kotoko, but who else will join them in being demoted to Division One as the relegation fight inch closer to its final stage, King Faisal, Great Olympics, Tamale City and RTU all find themselves entangled.
