Abdulai Gazale, the interim coach of Asante Kotoko, has shared his thoughts on the team's victory over Kotoku Royals in the Ghana Premier League.

Asante Kotoko played an away match in Week 31 and emerged with a 3-1 win, showcasing a commendable performance.

In a post-match interview, interim coach Abdulai Gazale expressed some disappointment that his team couldn't keep a clean sheet, but he was ultimately pleased with securing the maximum three points.

"Today, I wasn't expecting us to concede a goal based on our performances in the past two weeks, but unfortunately, we conceded again. However, our main objective was to secure the three points, and we have returned to our winning ways," Gazale remarked.

Regarding the fitness of the two-goal hero Georges Mfegue, Coach Gazale explained, "He wasn't initially ready to start, but I told him that we needed him due to his experience. He did an excellent job by giving us the lead in the first 45 minutes."

With the victory over Kotoku Royals, Asante Kotoko has climbed to the fourth position on the Ghana Premier League table.
