Medeama head coach, Ibrahim Tanko has blamed his team's defeat against Nations FC to lack of concentration from his players.

The former Accra Lions trainer said his team's performance was not bad at all, adding "the free-kick they conceded was unnecessary."

Tanko made these remarks shortly after Sunday's game at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese.

“We did very well against Nations FC but loss of concentration cost us the defeat. The free-kick we conceded was unnecessary, the wall was not constituted well. In all, the boys did well.”

With the defeat, Medeama are manning the seventh position on 32 points, while Nations are fifth with 35 points - just three points behind leaders Asante Kotoko.
