Legon Cities, a Ghana Premier League team based in Accra, has finalized the acquisition of defender Samuel Frimpong.
The right-back has inked a two-year contract with Cities, making a cost-free transition after concluding his tenure with Medeama SC in the previous season.
This signing directly fills the void left by Michael Ampadu, who transferred from Legon Cities to Hearts of Oak during the ongoing transfer period.
Samuel Frimpong, 26 years old, was released by Medeama after the conclusion of the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League season, in which his former club emerged victorious in the betPawa Premier League.
