The apoplectic former board member of the Phobians is enraged with the way and manner the long-serving football administrators duo are handling the affairs of the club and wants them to be dismissed

''lf Sowah Odotei and Alhaji Braimah Akambi are not sacked, Hearts of Oak will never succeed and will continue to struggle under them '', according to fuming former board member Barimah Atuahene.

Since the departure of former manager Samuel Boadu - who won five domestic trophies under his tenure - the one-time continental club masters have failed to replicate such title winning feats after witnessing poor performances for the past football seasons.

However, with the lingering presence of the two management members at the capital-based side, the man who once served the club at the administrative level, is convinced that the retention of the duo by the club's majority shareholder, Togbe Afede XI will continue to hinder the progress of the club and must removed them from office.

The enraged former football administrator was left fuming in an interview with Accra-based Asempa FM: ''With Odotei and Akambi around Hearts of Oak, the club will continue to struggle. These people have been around teh team and the team keep retrogressing. I think it is about time that Togbe Afede sack these people from the club. The supporters want them out, and I agree with the call by the fans.''

''I think Togbe should get competent management that will report to him. I am sad anytime I watch Hearts of Oak play. Togbe has spent millions on this team, but they keep failing him. With the infrastructure at the club now, these players should be performing, but that is not the case,'' he added.

Hearts of Oak are currently occupying the 4th position in the league standings after amassing 32 points so far in the Ghana Premier League.
