Match day 15 of the GPL continued at the Accra Sports stadium this afternoon as Accra Lions roared back to winning ways following a 3-0 win over a Great Olympics side to improve to 2nd on 26 points.
Lions went ahead after 27 minutes, courtesy of Abass Samari. However defender Jacob Amu Mensah who went from hero to villain was shown a red card in the 75th minute.
Amu notched a brace (42nd and 52nd minutes) to eventually pick up all three points for his side.
Olympics who will look to rebound in their next PL game against Dreams FC on Sunday are 7th on 22 points, 6 points away from the top of the summit.
