Evans Adomako and George Amonoo’s goals (41st, 48th 57th minutes) proved decisive as Karela dazzled to snatch a 3-2 victory over Bibiani Goldstars at CAM Park in Ainyinase.
Abednego Tetteh appeared to be on heat for goals after Karela have scored their three unanswered goals.
However, Tetteh’s breakthrough came in the 60th and 78th minutes which looked like the match was going to end in a draw stalemate but that never happened as Karela stood firm to claim the three maximum points at stake.
The result was tough on a Golden Boys side that looked promising over the past weeks, winning three, drawing one and losing one in their last five games.
Goldstars stands in the fifth spot with 48 points whiles Karela are 13th with 44 points.
