A goal in each half was enough to earn Bechem United a 2-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea to move to the second spot on the summit with 54 points.

The Hunters were by far the better side in the first half, and deservedly took the lead 31 minutes in through promising guardsman - Joseph Kinful - his first Ghana Premier League goal for Bechem United.

With Chelsea pressing for an equaliser, Bechem totally finished the visitors with a nervy ending in the dying embers with Cephas Mantey making it two, with a helping hand from Chelsea’s defensive errors, in the 89th minute.

The victory helped Bechem to record their fourth win in six matches. Chelsea on the other hand sleeps their head away on the 10th spot with 46 points.
