The fourth time ended being the charm for Bechem United as they finally nabbed their first victory of the season after two tries to get their campaign moving in the right direction at the Bechem Park on Sunday.
Back in the lineup, Forward Cephas Kofi Mantey featured upfront and scored the only goal of the game in the 51st minute for his side to give them the badly needed win and the maximum 3 points as they seek to get their season back on track.
Kotoku hasn’t been able to replicate their brilliant home performance on the road and they continue to search for the first away win of the season.
Bechem moved from the drop zone of the log to the 14th on 3 points and will next play their match day 3 outstanding game against Asante Kotoko at home on Thursday, November 3, while 12th placed Kotoku Royals will play as hosts to Hearts of Oak.
