At the Golden City Park, Berekum Chelsea kept their recent exploits and successes afloat, not-way-too impressively, though, earning 4 out of a total of 9 points following their 3-0 drubbing of visiting Elmina Sharks to move to the fifth spot on the log with 46 points.
Sharks held their ground against their hosts but cracked in the 15th minute as Emmanuel Sarpong struck the back of the net for the opener before Henry Ainsu took advantage of an avoidable mishap to double the lead for Chelsea, with 24-year-old Collins Ameyaw scoring the match winner for the Bibires in the 56th minute.
The loss left Sharks at the 18th spot on 22 points, right where they were at the start of the match day 31 encounter this afternoon.
