The maiden clash between Bofoakwa Tano and Nsoatreman FC in the Bono derby ended in a scoreless draw at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

Nsoatreman FC picked their second away draw against Bofoakwa Tano when they squared off in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League match-week 11 fixture on Sunday afternoon.

The early minutes of the game looked balanced as the two teams possessed the ball in the middle with no effort of recording a shot on target in the first fifteen minutes.

Bofoakwa Tano attacker Elijah Addai tried his luck with a powerful drive in the 20th minute but his strike went into the palm of goalkeeper Daniel Afadzwu.

The back line of Nsoatreman FC stood resolute at the back to deny the host from causing any havoc in the remaining minutes of the first half.

The first half of the match ended in a 0-0 draw at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

Nsoatreman FC continued their impressive display with the hopes of silencing the thousands of supporters of Bofoakwa Tano but their efforts went futile.

Youngster Kwabena Adu Meider and Stephan Diyou combined to dazzle the back line of Bofoakwa Tano but they were denied from registering their name on the score sheet.

No goal was produced as the match officials brought the game to an end at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

Nsoatreman have maintained their second spot with 20 points while Bofoakwa Tano occupies the 5th position with 16 points after match-week 11.
