In the second half, Brazilian midfielder Joe Silva de Santana, in his Premier League debut, scored the decisive goal for Nations FC in the 73rd minute. Despite no further goals, Nations FC secured the win, earning the three maximum points.
Nations FC has overcome a challenging start to the season and is now a formidable presence in the Ghanaian top-flight, notching up three consecutive wins and holding the 4th position with 20 points.
Meanwhile, Accra Lions find themselves in 12th place on the league standings with 16 points after playing 13 games in the current season.
