Ibrahim Abdullai's early first half goal powers Dreams FC to a narrow 1-0 win over AshantiGold SC at the Theatre of Dreams Park to return to winning ways.
The home team started well and had a corner kick in the early stages of the game. Skipper Abdul Jalilu jumped hight to connect Amadu's delivery but came off the post.
Dreams FC continued with their constant pressure which eventually yielded them the needed results on the 11th minute after Ibrahim Abdullai connected a corner kick to hand his side the lead.
AshantiGold SC begun settling really well in the game, exchanging passes among themselves but was not resulting into any dangerous incursion.
The Miners didn't stop from there and kept on with their pressure after a blistering counter break but a timely intervention from Ibrahim Abdulai stopped them from making it count.
On the 40th minute, the host were awarded a free kick at a well placed position, Osman Amadu went for a power but was dealt with properly by Dennis Votere.
Back from recess, the 'Still Believe' lads again with a good start in a quest to double their lead but Agyenim Boateng arrived late and failed to head from Victor Oduro's cross.
AshantiGold SC also broke on a counter, starman Yaw Annor with an explosive forward run towards an opposing territory but was stopped immaculately by Abdul Jalilu.
The Miners attacking with so much purpose in the second half in search for the equalizer but the resolute backline of the home team kept their lead intact.
Dreams FC grinded all three points after full time to return to winning ways.
