Dreams FC returned to winning ways with a 2-1 triumph over champions Medeama SC at the Theater of Dreams Park in an epic Ghana Premier League week six tie on Sunday afternoon. 

Coach Karim Zito made three changes from the team that started against Samartex, with Solomon Agbasi, Gael Aholou, Godfred Atuahene all making the cut but skipper Abdul Jalilu wasn't in the squad due to unknown reasons.

 

On the part of Medeama SC, three changes were made from the team that played against DC United. Despite maintaining the backline, Joe Agyemang, Emmanuel Cudjoe and marksman Derrick Fordjour all made a return into the line up today.

 

It was an explosive start for the home team who snatched the opener in just four minutes from the blast of the referee's whistle, kind courtesy experience gunman John Antwi- who has so far been impressive since his return.

David Frimpong Boison pulled one back for the Mauves and Yellows in stoppage time as it finished 2-1 after full time in Dawu.

 

The 'Still Believe' lads after this precious victory have now ended their recent four-game winless run and will hope to continue with the same momentum in their subsequent matches.
