Aduana Stars have made it a habit of eking out narrow results with late goals in recent matches, but Sunday afternoon saw them flirting again with that trend as they solidly posted a 3-1 win over now-ninth placed side RTU - who have now lost three Ghana Premier League matches this season.

Two managers with huge egos, Abdul Shakun Iddrisu scored the opener in the 22nd minute but his goal was short lived as former Asante Kotoko forward Emmanuel Gyamfi chopped off the goal by notching the equalizer on the stroke of halftime, making it 1-1 into recess.

Cometh the second half, cometh the man, good and clever positioning and wicked finishing saw Gyamfi latched the ball home - again - from tailor measured angles.

Gyamfi’s lethal brace is one of the surprise weekend packages in the match-week 7 fixture.

Not-yet-done Aduana Stars continued their ruthless showdown for the first time in Tamale as forward - Isaac Mintah finished an exquisite effort in the 85th minute mark to seal the victory for the Fire Boys at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.

Aduana have climbed up to the second spot with 12 points whilst RTU are laying bare on 9th with 10 points.
