Hearts of Oak were held to their fifth draw of the season after playing out another goalless draw with Heart of Lions at the Hohoe Sports Stadium.

The game was slated for match-day five but had to be rescheduled due to the Akosombo Dam spillage which occured weeks ago in the Volta Region.

Both teams started well but it was the visitors who were given the first free kick at a good position and was effected by Enoch Asubonteng but his delivery was way off target.

It was an open game subsequently with lots of attacks made by the two sides with the 'Phobians' slightly ahead but there was no goal produced at half time.

In the second half, Ibrahim Salifu had an attempt on goal on the 52nd minute, having taken down his marker to go for goal but his effort missed the post by inches.

Heart of Lions also with an opportunity to snatch the lead through Mustapha Yakubu but a huge block from Kofi Agbesimah saved the situation.

It finished goalless after full time as the Lions are still yet to record their first win since their return into the topflight.
