Prosper Narteh Ogum- head coach of Asante Kotoko, has boldly revealed the team is full of politicians who always confide with some media men to seek for playing time and has boldly stated that won't happen when he is in charge.
The Porcupine Warriors have recorded some string of poor results recently having lost their last matches, against Nsoatreman FC and Dreams FC in the last round.
The 'Kum Apem' lads currently have two wins three loses and four draws and are found 14th on the table with 10 points after nine games.
Speaking ahead of their next game, Ogum emphasized on this issue which has always been in the club and assured he won't be intimidated by that in anyway since he will only hand players starting berths based on fair grounds and nothing else.
"I told them most of [senior players] are politicians but I don't want to mind you. Players stay in Kotoko after one-two years they turn into politicians. They use the to fight for positions to play but me as a coach, you will never get me."
Asante Kotoko will play Samartex FC at the Nsenkyire Sports Stadium in the next round of matches.
