Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has stated that he starts the young players over the senior ones due to the former’s poor attitude during training sessions.
The gaffer expressed biggest concerns about his senior players this campaign and has responded to why they've not been playing this campaign for the club.
“Most of the senior players are not putting in much effort at training and that’s the reason I start the young guys who originally are not suppose to start,” Ogum said at a presser on Wednesday.
Asante Kotoko has just 10 points from nine matches this season so far in the 2023-24 Ghana Premier League with just two wins of the season.
The Porcupines are away to Sameraboi to face Samartex in the week 10 fixture on Sunday.
