Gideon Asante's second half leveller was enough for Hearts of Oak to secure a 1-1 draw against Berekum Chelsea in Ghana Premier League match-day 12 clash at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.
Both teams were really slow especially at he start of the game and were still not able to find their rhythm heading into the tenth minute mark.
Fast-forward, the 'Phobians' were awarded a free kick at a very good position. Ibrahim Salifu with a decent delivery but was checked by goalkeeper Obeng Sekyere Gregory.
On the 25th minute, Berekum Chelsea jumped in front through Emmanuel Essien who tapped into the net from a corner kick.
Just on the stroke of half time, Awuah Dramani came so close to restoring Chelsea's lead but his effort was saved brilliantly by goalkeeper Richmond Ayi.
In the second half, the Rainbow Club made two quick substitutions after introducing youngsters Suraj Seidu and Gideon Asante to replace Martin Karikari and Raphael Amponsah.
Ten minutes into their introductions, the two substitutes combined nicely to get the equalizer for the Phobians after Suraj set up Gideon Asante who found the net calmly to level things up.
The game was an even one at some point but the defense of the two sides were really solid and conceded no goal again as it finished 1-1 after full time.
