Dreams FC's perfect start to the season continues after inflicting a narrow 1-0 victory over newbies, Kotoku Royals in match-week 2 of the Ghana Premier League.

The homesters were really explosive in the opening minutes of the game, having mounted so much pressure in search for the opener but the resolute backline of the visitors ensured no goal was produced in the early stages. 

Kotoku Royals responded so quick in an attempt to take the host by surprise and resulted into Ali Huzaif being yellow carded after a harsh challenge, signifying the early aggressive nature of the game.
 
Dreams FC on the 25th minute made a goal incursion after last week hero, Dana Blessing sent in a teasing cross to pick up Ali Huzaif at far post but resulted in a foul after colliding with an opposing defender.
 
On the 30th minute, the visitors nearly found the net with Augustine Boakye going round goalkeeper Bawa Martey but his final effort was stopped timely by Abdul Jalilu who prevented the ball from entering the net. It finished goalless at half time.
 
In the second phase, the 'Still Believe' lads returned on a higher note after Dana Blessing's close range drive looked like going off the hand of an opposing player in the box but the referee wasn't interested in that.
 
They nearly snatched the lead on the 60th minute but Agyenim Boateng's header from a cross was stopped hugely by Clinton Quaye to keep the visitors alive in the game.
 
Dreams FC finally opened the scoring account on the 71st minute thanks to Ali Huzaif's solo finish, just what the Dawu fans were waiting for.
 
Kotoku Royals came in really stronger in the last ten minutes, attacking with so much intent just to get the leveller but all their attempts proved futile. It ended 1-0 for the host after full time.
