King Faisal have been relegated to Ghana football's second tier league, despite claiming a 1-0 victory against Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on the final day.
Defender Godfred Asiamah’s goal wasn’t enough to save the Insha Allah boys from being relegated as they recorded their 11th win of the season, which leaves them on the 17th spot with 42 points.
Although RTU were bent on frustrating the already-relegated club as they showed superb display on the field of play, It was King Faisal that annexed the bittersweet win, an eleventh loss for the home side which left them 4 points from safety in this afternoon’s final match encounter.
