King Faisal FC have moved out of the relegation zone after recording a five-goal thriller win over Karela United at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

The ‘Insha Allah’ lads returned to winning ways with a 3-2 home victory over Karela United in the Ghana Premier League match-week 24 fixture on Wednesday afternoon.

 
King Faisal commenced the game on a good note but they were unlucky upfront with Benjamin Bature missing a glorious opportunity on 20th minute.
 
Momentum shifted after the half-hour mark when Karela United coach Shaibu Tanko twerked his tactics to pile up pressure on the host to concede on the 42nd minute through Emmanuel Owusu Boakye.
 
Two minutes later, King Faisal levelled the score when Samuel Kusi capitalized on defensive blunder from goalkeeper Prince Asempa and his backline to end the first half in a one-all draw.
 
In the second half, King Faisal displayed another five-star performance to made it 2-1 through a long-range strike from Abdul Latif on the 59th minute of the game.
 
Striker Benjamin Bature extended the lead for the home side with a fine strike past Prince Asempa on the 73rd minute of the game.
 
Karela United showed glimpses of at least leaving Abrankese with a point when substitute Ishmael Nketiah reduced the deficit with his maiden touch on 76th minute. 
 
King Faisal held on with the 3-2 lead to claim all the three maximum points despite the late impressive performance from the visitors.
 
Following the win, King Faisal sits at 14th position with 28 points whilst Karela United occupies 11th position with 29 points after twenty-four matches.
