Ebenezer Acquah and Evans Osei Wusu’s goals helped FC Samartex to beat Kotoku Royals 2-1 at the Nsenkyire Park to put Annor Walker’s side on the 9th spot with 33 points on the Ghana Premier League table.
Akyem Kotoku broke the deadlock after 15 minutes when Francis Andy Kumi nodded home a beauty, before Evans Osei Wusu’s penalty doubled the lead at the 39th minute mark.
The Timber Giants two goals were enough to bag the three points at home.
Kotoku are still laying comfortably on the relegation zone - bottom - on 18th spot with 20 points.
