A spirited second half performance powered Asante Kotoko to another impressive 1-3 comeback win over Legon Cities FC at the Red Bull Arena in match-day 12 of the Ghana Premier League.

Coach Paa Kwasi Fabin paraded his arsenals for this game in a strong line up that comprised of skipper Nasiru Moro, goalkeeper Kwame Aziz, Frank Akoto, Joseph Amoah and others.

With Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum made no changes from the team that won against Medeama SC last week.

The first half was an open encounter until Legon Cities captain Nasiru Moro converted a spectacular free kick to hand them the lead on the 26th minute.

After going down at half time, Asante Kotoko made an explosive start in the second half as they attacked from all angles in search of the leveller.

However, the Porcupine Warriors finally got the equalizer on the 66th minute thanks to an own goal from Sulemana Mohammed- who scored into his own net from Mukwala's cross.

Kotoko on the 74th minute got themselves ahead for the first time in the game after scoring to make it 1-2 through Ugandan forward Steven Mukwala- who received a beautiful pass from Richmond Lamptey.

Just on the stroke of full time, substitute Isaac Oppong scored again to make it 3-1 and seal a precious win for the Reds.

It finished 1-3 for Asante Kotoko after full time in Sogakope.
