At the Nana Gyeabour's Park, Bechem United failed to hang on to the second spot after they were troubled by Legon Cities at their own fold as they were unable to sweep past their visiting side with a 0-0 draw stalemate.
The Royals proved too strong for a surging Bechem side as they defied all the odds and settled for a draw, throwing cold water on the Hunters title chase that seemed to have picked up some momentum in recent weeks.
Cities maintained their 9th spot with the draw on 43 points whilst the Hunters dropped from the second spot to third on 49 points.
