A second half strike from Emmanuel Kotei helped Nsoatreman FC to record their 12th won of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season against Real Tamale United at the Nana Kronmansah Park in Nsoatre.
Nsoatreman FC returned to winning ways with a 1-0 home victory over the Tamale based club in the Premier League match-week 31 clash o. Friday afternoon.
Real Tamale United could be found guilty for squandering the goal glaring opportunities in the first half of the game.
The Blue and White lads enjoyed majority of the possession in the first half but Issah Kukah and Manaf Umar were wasteful upfront to give them at least a goal before the break.
Manaf Umar came close to register the opener on the 20th minute but he fired wide.
In the last five minutes of the first half, Stephen Diyou nearly gave the home side the lead but his effort went wide as it ended in a scoreless draw.
Two minutes after the break, Emmanuel Kotei brilliantly slotted a pass from Robert Duodo into the back of Real Tamale United's net to hand the host the opener.
Nsoatreman FC dominated the second half of the game with the hopes of getting more goals but their attempts were denied by goalkeeper Osei Yaw.
Real Tamale United failed to make their chances created count as the entire duration of the game ended in a 1-0 win for Nsoatreman FC.
Nsoatreman FC have moved up to 12th position with 40 points while Real Tamale United remains at 11th position after match-week 31.
