Karela United welcomed mid-table dwellers Bibiani Gold Stars to Aliu Mahama Stadium in midweek action. Despite being the hosts, the Pride and Passion men didn’t look to open intense fire on the Miners. Instead, they soaked up pressure and split the match open as they both scored a goal appease.
Although, the away side manned up to control the game and creating better chances, Gold Stars had to settle for a point after enterprising forward Charles Gyamfi Kamara fired the equaliser in the 44th-minute past goalkeeper Mohammed Abdul Ganiu.
Evans Adomako had given the hosts an early (7th minute) lead through a spot kick before Gyamfi netted his equaliser - just a minute into halftime to turn the match on its bubble-swing.
The Bibiani based side now has eight goals in the Ghanaian top-flight this term as they slew on the 8th spot with 10 points, whilst Karela are 15th with 8 points on the league table.
