Real Tamale United (RTU) defeated Nsoatreman FC by 2:0 in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) week 14 fixture at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
Dankwa Badu Stephen scored the opener, before Manaf Umar sealed the victory for RTU.
RTU continued their impressive home form, winning all their last five games, meanwhile Nsoatreman have recorded just a victory in their last seven outings in the league.
RTU dominated the game from start but found it difficult to make a headway before Dankwa Badu finally opened the scoring on the twentieth minute.
Nsoatreman forced to comeback into the game but RTU regain their dominance before the end of the first half.
RTU settled early inside the second half before doubling their lead through Umar Manaf.
The former Hearts of Oak attacker, Manaf, scored his first goal for the Pride of the North since joining them at the start of the season to get the job done for the Blue and Whites.
Nsoatreman couldn't comeback into the game as RTU managed their lead throughout the game.
Baba Nuhu's RTU have moved up the ladder to eighth with twenty-one points, whereas Nsoatreman have sunk to fifteenth with seventeen points.
