Struggling Kotoku Royals failed to find the break they’ve been hunting for as they played out a 1-1 draw against Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Kotoku’s 6 game dry spell still holds with – 5 losses and a win – with this afternoon’s 1-1 stalemate. Although, it was a determined performance from the visitors - the hosts were on the heels of the visitors in the dying embers of the game.

Francis Andy Kumi headed home after connecting with a well-tailored cross from the right after 32 minutes to put Kotoku Royals ahead.

The home side went out of their comfort zone to hunt for the equalizer, but they got the breakthrough at the 90th minute mark grabbing the equalizer with an Abass Samari spot-kick.

Accra Lions upped their tally to 28 points for the 4th spot whilst Kotoku continue to toddle on the bottom (18th) with 11 points.
