At the Golden City Park in Berekum, Chelsea rebounded with a hard fought lone goal victory over visiting Karela United.
Cellar dwellers Karela United gave a good account of themselves but were left awestruck by a 90+7’ minute goal by Mezack Afriyie which sinked them into the relegation zone.
The one goal was all the ‘Bibires’ had on tap for the kill, as they held on to it to improve to 10th on 16 points whilst Karela dropped to the danger zone (16th) on 13 points.
