FC Samartex have moved out of the relegation zone following a 1-0 home win over Bechem United in their Ghana Premier League match-week 12 encounter on Wednesday afternoon.
The home side commenced the game with some fearsome attacks on the back line of Bechem United but their efforts couldn't earn them a goal as the first half ended in a scoreless draw.
In the second half, Bechem United looked dangerous upfront but their attacking duo of Hafiz Konkoni and Cephas Kofi Mantey were wasteful.
Samartex capitalized on the late pressure mounted on the visitors to salvage all the three maximum points courtesy a late goal from Seidu Abubakar.
Abubakar scored a fine strike on the 83rd minute to propel FC Samartex to their third victory of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
