Berekum Chelsea have been held by newbies, Tamale City FC to a pulsating 2-2 stalemate at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in another epic GPL week 6 tie.

Both teams handed each other a very tough clash and dived into the lead on an occasion in the course of the game but ended up sharing spoils. 

The Bibires were the first to find the back of the net through Kalou Ouattarra who netted his first of the season after collecting a sumptuous help from Collins Ameyaw. 
 
The host responded sixteen minutes later to get back on level thanks to Raphael Essien's solo finish.
 
The visitors initiated an explosive counter break to restore their lead but a great defensive work from GodKnows Dzakpasu saved the host.
 
Back from recess, Tamale City returned really well and their constant pressure yielded them a penalty on the 53rd minute after Sampson Eduku was fouled in the box. 
 
Isaac Mensah stepped up and scored beautifully to hand the host the lead for the first time in the game.
 
The Blues in the final 15 minutes threw more men in attack with the mindset of earning a point at least from Tamale.
 
The constant pressure finally got them the leveller after Mezack Afriyie scored on the stroke of full time to salvage his side a point.
 
Berekum Chelsea after today's draw are sitting 6th with 9 points, whiles Tamale City still remain with no win and are 17th on the log with 3 points.
