Red-hot striker Rudolf Mensah has emerged as a transfer target for two Ghanaian topflight sides Medeama SC and Aduana FC, with the two clubs locked into a race for the forward’s signature.
The Swedru All Blacks striker has been making headlines and attracted attention as well following his performances this season, scoring six goals in 28 appearances.
His form has not gone unnoticed, with officials from both clubs reportedly holding talks as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko and Aduana FC CEO Collins Atta Poku are said to be leading their respective clubs’ pursuit of the Black Galaxies forward.
Mensah’s rising profile has also been reflected at the national level, having earned a call-up to the Black Galaxies squad announced recently for upcoming assignments.
With interest intensifying from two top Ghana Premier League sides, the coming weeks could prove decisive in determining the next step in the striker’s career as All Blacks are also not willing to let him go unless their asking price is met.
