Ghana Premier League (GPL) club Medeama Sporting Club have confirmed the appointment of Isaac Amoako as first-team goalkeeping coach.

Kickgh.com earlier got wind of Amoako - who spent last season in the GPL at Nsoatreman as kick-starting negotiations with an unnamed GPL side, however, it has appeared the club was Medeama.

40-year-old Amoako arrives as part of a shake-up in head coach Nebojsa Kapor's backroom staff, with the former Asante Kotoko shot-stopper expected to work closely in nurturing and shaping up goalkeepers at the Yellow and Mauves.

“Medeama Sporting Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Isaac Amoako as our new goalkeeper coach. Amoako joins us on a two-year contract, bringing a wealth of experience and a proven track record,” the club said in an official statement.

Isaac Amoako has agreed to spend the next two-years at Tarkwa, having refused to extend his stay in Nsoatre.
