Medeama SC are on a twelve-game unbeaten run and currently joint-leaders of the Ghana Premier League with their last win coming hugely against Heart of Lions away from home.

The Mauves and Yellows have started the season on a blistering note till now and the win at Kpando in the last round of matches have really brighten their league winning chances. 

The win has now pushed their unbeaten run to 12 matches; boasting of six wins and six draws within that period with their last defeat in the league coming on September 28, against Karela United. 

Coach Ibrahim Tanko has described the feet as a very positive one and believes it is really going to help them a lot in their quest to winning their second league title. 

He further stated that they are going take their matches one at a time in order to have perfect and adequate preparations to secure better results going forward 

“The feeling is good, going 12 games unbeaten in the Premier League with all these good clubs. I think we did very well here. Going to Kpando, we had the confidence to go and grab all three points.

“I think we played as a team. I have always said that when we play as a team, we can face any side, home or away.”

“We have to think about our own game first. If we get a point or three there, we will definitely close the gap. We are not thinking about Kotoko, we are thinking about Bibiani GoldStars,” Tanko said in his pre-match interview

Medeama SC will close the year with a very big game against champions Bibiani GoldStars on Wednesday, December 31, at the TnA Stadium.
