Ghana Premier League outfit Medeama SC have opened negotiations with talented winger Evans Osei Wusu as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 campaign.

Sources close to the Tarkwa-based club reveal that preliminary discussions have begun, with Medeama targeting reinforcements on the flanks before the transfer window closes.

Osei Wusu, renowned for his blistering pace, skillful dribbling, and clinical finishing, has been on the radar of several top-flight Ghanaian clubs in recent months. However, Medeama are understood to be in pole position to secure his services.

The 2022/23 Ghana Premier League champions endured a challenging season last term and are determined to reclaim their crown. Club insiders describe the deal as being in its early stages, but talks are expected to advance in the coming days.

Should the move go through, Osei Wusu would add a new dimension to the Mauve and Yellows’ attack as they prepare for both domestic and CAF inter-club competitions this season.
