Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC has announced the signing of Henry Nyarko ahead of the 2025–26 season's campaign.
The Tarkwa-based outfit have secured the exciting winger on a four-year permanent deal from Fijai United Soccer Academy.
The 18-year-old joins the Yellow and Mauves after a breakthrough campaign with Fijai Academy, where he played a starring role in the 2025 Western Regional Football Association (WRFA) Super Middle League.
Nyarko was instrumental in guiding his side to the semifinals of the tournament and earned plaudits for his performances.
He was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) in Fijai’s final group game against Tarkwa United and went on to earn a place in the Team of the Tournament, showcasing his immense talent and consistency on the pitch.
At his unveiling, Nyarko expressed his joy and ambition: “Joining Medeama SC is a big step in my career. I’m grateful for the opportunity and ready to give everything for this badge. I can’t wait to play in front of the fans and grow under Coach Ibrahim Tanko.”
Head Coach Ibrahim Tanko welcomed the youngster, stating: “Henry is a promising player with great potential. His energy, pace, and hunger to learn make him a great addition to our squad. We’re excited to work with him and integrate him into our system.”
