Newly crowned Medeama SC will officially receive the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League trophy on Wednesday, May 27, after a coronation match against regional rivals Basake Holy Stars at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.
The Yellow and Mauves secured their second league title in three seasons with a game to spare after another impressive season under head coach Ibrahim Tanko.
Medeama’s title-winning season was built on consistency, determination and strong tactical performances throughout the campaign.
Before the coronation ceremony, the champions will play their final league game away to Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, May 24.
After the special match against Basake Holy Stars, Medeama players and officials will receive their medals before lifting the Ghana Premier League trophy in front of their home supporters.
Excitement is already growing ahead of the celebrations, with a large crowd expected at the TnA Stadium as fans gather to celebrate another historic achievement for the Tarkwa-based club.
