Title-chasing Medeama SC have launched an ambitious fan campaign dubbed “Operation Paint Tarkwa Yellow and Mauve” as they prepare for a decisive Ghana Premier League clash against defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars on Sunday.
The league’s top two teams will face each other at the TNA Stadium, in a match many believe could decide who wins the league title this season.
Playing at home in Tarkwa, Medeama have called on their fans to come to the stadium in large numbers and create a strong atmosphere by wearing yellow and mauve to fill the stands with the club’s colours.
The campaign message focuses on togetherness, pride and confidence as the team tries to take control of the title race.
The Mauve and Yellows have been in very good form in recent weeks, moving close to the top of the table. Gold Stars, however, come into the match as defending champions and are determined to stay at the top.
Kick-off is set for 15:00 GMT on Sunday, May 3, with fans across the country looking forward to a match that could decide how the season ends.
