Medeama will take on Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko sans the trio of Jonathan Sowah, Nurudeen Abdulai, and Fatawu Hamid.

The three players will miss the mammoth clash against the Porcupine Warriors at the Baba Yara Stadium after being named in Ghana's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying squad against Madagascar and Comoros.

24-year-old Jonathan Sowah will miss the fixture against Asante Kotoko due to yellow card accumulation.

The trio will travel with the Black Stars team to Comoros on Saturday for Tuesday's cracking qualifier in Moroni.

Medeama have a huge storehouse of good players in their squad and should be able to weave-them-in as replacement despite these absentees.

While the Yellow and Mauves are a great team on paper, there is still a lot of work that has to be done on the pitch as their fans are still waiting to see the best of them this season.

Medeama will flip-it with 'struggling loudmouth' Asante Kotoko who hasn't had a proper run of victories this season as they are without a win in five matches.
