Asante Kotoko will return to action today (Wednesday, 8 October) when they host Bibiani Goldstars in an outstanding 2025/26 Ghana Premier League Matchday Two fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The game which is scheduled for 19:00 GMT, presents an opportunity for the Porcupine Warriors to rebound, having managed one win and a draw in the two matches they've played so far in the campaign due to their CAF Confederation Cup run.
Kotoko, who are currently 11th in the league standings, will be eager to record their first home win of the campaign, while Goldstars arrive in Kumasi determined to upset the hosts.
The fixture, rescheduled following Kotoko’s CAF Confederation Cup commitments and calendar changes, is seen as an important early test for both sides as they look to climb the table.
Fans are expected to fill the stands at the Baba Yara Stadium for what promises to be an entertaining midweek encounter under the lights.
