On-loan Asante Kotoko midfielder, Mudasiru Salifu is the new most expensive footballer in the Ghana Premier League after ending his stay with Saudi Arabian side Al Batin.
This new one was purely based on their performance in the just ended 2022/23 football season, and was just updated on June 9, 2023- that's just some couple of days ago.
Previously, it was Kotoko winger Joseph Amoako who was on top with a value of €200,000 but has now reduced to €150,000 due to his to the fact that, he couldn't play much last season.
However, high-flying Abass Salifu Samari has now taken over and has incredibly risen from €125,000 to €200,000 and is currently topping the list.
Mudasiru Salifu will top the list with twice the price of the previous leaders as he is currently worth €400,000 having gotten the opportunity to play in the UEFA Europa League next season.
The mercurial middleman started last season with Moldovan champions FC Sheriff Tiraspol before subsequently switching to Al Batin in the Saudi Pro League for another six months loan spell.
