Kwaku Danso, head coach of Bechem United has spoken of his side's determination in securing a 1-0 narrow win over Asante Kotoko.
According to the "Local Boy" Danso as he is an indigene of Bechem his players were ready and determined to beat the Porcupine Warriors
"My players were prepared and determined to beat Asante Kotoko. During our training sessions ahead of the game, you could see the determination in their eyes," he said on Asempa FM.
"After winning the game, I wasn't surprised because we prepared well. The players were also determined to make a statement against Asante Kotoko," Danso added.
The vital win moved Bechem United to the ninth position with 14 points, while Kotoko was cowed to 6th with 15 points.
Bechem United will next face Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park, while Kotoko will muscle-it-up with fierce regional rivals' Nations FC at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
