Nations FC skipper Razak Simpson delivered a five-star performance by scoring his maiden goal for the Black Stars in an emphatic 4-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago in the third-place match of the 2025 Unity Cup.
Simpson, who had a difficult moment in Ghana's 2-1 loss to Nigeria in the semi-final game of the four-nation tournament, scored a brilliant header in the 12th minute from a corner-kick effected by Jordan Ayew.
Ayew had opened the floodgate for the Black Stars in the 6th minute before assisting the former AshantiGold SC and WAFA SC defender to double their lead before the half-hour mark.
Youngster Mohammed Gadafi Fuseini made it 3-0 for coach Otto Addo's side in the 41st minute before Lawrence Agyekum sealed the victory with his effort in the 56th minute of the game.
Razak Simpson is on the verge of lifting his maiden Ghana Premier League title with Nations FC as they lead the 2024/25 league log with two games to end the season.
He will be missing their match-week 33 trip to Aiyinase to face Basake Holy Stars due to national team duties.
