Kasim Ocansey Mingle, the tactician leading Nations FC, has his sights set on clinching the Ghana Premier League title in their debut season.

Based in Abrankese, Nations FC has made a remarkable entry into the Ghana Premier League, securing 8 wins, 3 draws, and 6 losses in the first half of the campaign.

Despite a challenging start to the season, Nations FC finished fourth in the domestic top-flight standings after the initial round of fixtures.

As the Premier League resumes this weekend following the conclusion of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, Nations FC's fixture against Dreams FC in the week 18 encounter has been postponed due to the latter's involvement in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Looking ahead to the second half of the season, Mingle is unwavering in his ambition to lift the Ghana Premier League trophy.

“We will win the league if the opportunity comes, but if we are unable to win it, we will ensure we finish in a respectable position. It’s football, and we have to aim high. All clubs competing in the league ultimately aim to win it, so we are aiming for that,” Mingle affirmed.

With determination and a hunger for success, Nations FC is poised to make a significant impact in their inaugural season in the Ghana Premier League, eyeing glory and silverware at the end of the campaign.
