Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has praised the improving quality and strong competition in the Ghana Premier League, saying there are no longer any easy opponents.

The former Asante Kotoko coach has guided Hearts of Oak to fourth place this season, eight points behind leaders Medeama SC. With 14 matches still to be played in the 2025–26 campaign, Dramani believes both the title race and the fight to avoid relegation are still wide open.

Speaking about the state of the league, Dramani said teams are now more competitive and well organised than before.

“To be honest, I believe our league is improving and it is now difficult to identify easy opponents,” he said.

“Yes, there are still areas that need improvement, but overall, our game is at a high standard.”

This season has seen many closely fought matches, with teams across the table showing strong tactics and determination. Hearts of Oak have also felt the pressure, facing tough challenges no matter the opponent’s position.

While admitting there are still problems, including stadium facilities, refereeing and administrative issues, Dramani said the improvement in the quality of football is clear.
